Dr. October’s research has focused on advanced studies in human behavior, and she holds certifications and licenses in Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI), Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW), as well as being an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC). She is an assistant professor at SUNY/Empire State College, and has served in a variety of capacities in the field of social work and counseling. Dr. October is a seasoned presenter, and has had various articles published in both Guyana and the United States.
